Mental colour healing is a way of healing using therapeutic touch with visualisation of colour. It is a "hands-on" therapy whish can restore balance and harmony to the whole being. It can be effective with most conditions as well as being restorative and an excellent preventative therapy.

In the colour healing practised at the Maitreya School of Healing, the therapists use a pure form of colours found in nature - the blue of bluebells, the yellow-gold of daffodils, the amethyst of the gemstone, indigo as in the vault of heaven on a moonless night... Each colour has a particular quality associated with it, such as cleansing, calming, stimulating, strengthening and healing.

A Healing Session

During a session of colour healing, you lie fully clothed on the therapy couch in a comfortable position. The therapist works in a certain sequence over your body. Healing colours are visualised by the therapist and transmitted to you through the therapist's hands with a very light touch whilst directing the intention of the healing.

You may experience a sense of deep relaxation which will assist the healing process, followed by a feeling of calm and rejuvenation.
